In a world dominated by screens — whether it’s televisions, tablets, or smartphones — raising children without them might seem like a radical decision. Yet, for our family, going screen-free has been one of the most liberating choices we’ve made. As a mother of three young children, I’ve witnessed firsthand how eliminating screens from their lives has given them a kind of freedom and creativity that’s hard to find in today’s tech-saturated society.

But like every parenting decision, it hasn’t been without its challenges — especially when it comes to my own screen usage.

Why We Chose to Go Screen-Free

Our journey to a screen-free childhood didn’t happen overnight. It began with a nagging feeling that screens were robbing my kids of something priceless: their ability to entertain themselves, to explore the world around them, and to engage with each other.
